OraCare OrthoProtect is designed for the areas that become harder to keep clean when a patient is wearing braces, aligners, or other orthodontic appliances. Its two-part system creates activated chlorine dioxide immediately before use, helping the rinse reach around brackets, wires, attachments, and other plaque-retentive surfaces.
The OrthoProtect formula also includes calcium lactate, xylitol, and poloxamer 407 to support an orthodontic home-care routine focused on plaque control, enamel protection, oral comfort, and a cleaner-feeling mouth.
Use it exactly as directed—mixing the two parts, allowing the activation period, then rinsing for the recommended time. OrthoProtect supplements careful brushing, interdental cleaning, fluoride exposure, and professional orthodontic and dental care; it does not replace them.
