OraCare OrthoProtect is a two-part activated oral rinse designed around the hygiene challenges created by braces, clear aligners, attachments, retainers, and other orthodontic appliances. Brackets and appliance surfaces can create additional plaque-retentive areas, so OrthoProtect is formulated to reach throughout the mouth as part of a more complete home-care routine.
The two liquids are mixed immediately before use to create activated chlorine dioxide. The OrthoProtect formula also includes calcium lactate, xylitol, and poloxamer 407. Follow the product directions for equal-part mixing, activation time, rinse time, and frequency. OrthoProtect is an adjunct to—not a replacement for—careful brushing around appliances, interdental cleaning, fluoride exposure when recommended, and regular dental and orthodontic visits. New pain, swelling, decay, gum bleeding, or appliance problems should be evaluated professionally.
Return requests must be submitted within 14 days of delivery and approved before anything is sent back. Eligible items must be unopened, unused, complete, and factory sealed where applicable. Opened medical devices, oral-contact items, nasal devices, tubing, and other hygiene-sensitive products are final sale.
