Scope
This Policy governs product reviews and other content voluntarily posted to public features controlled by SBA. The retail review feature is intended for product experiences. SBA does not use this feature as a public clinical-record or secure patient-communication channel.
Authentic Reviews
We may label a review as a verified purchase when we can associate it with a purchase from SBA. We do not create fake reviews, purchase fake reviews, use fabricated personas, or knowingly publish reviews that falsely represent a reviewer's experience.
Positive and Negative Reviews
A negative rating or criticism is not, by itself, a reason to suppress, remove, delay, or deprioritize a review. We apply the same moderation standards regardless of sentiment. We do not condition a refund, replacement, discount, or other benefit on a consumer changing or removing a truthful negative review.
Moderation
We may reject, redact, or remove content when reasonably necessary because it is unlawful; threatening or harassing; fraudulent or fake; spam or irrelevant to the product experience; infringes intellectual-property rights; discloses another person's personal or health information; includes sensitive information that should not be public; contains an undisclosed material commercial connection; includes malicious code or prohibited links; or makes a product claim that SBA cannot lawfully publish or disseminate. When practical, we may invite the reviewer to edit a fixable issue. Moderation for legal, privacy, or safety reasons is not used as a pretext to suppress criticism.
Health Information and Clinical Experiences
Do not include diagnoses, test results, medication information, clinician communications, or other information you want kept confidential in a public review. Use the secure patient communication method for clinical questions. If public content contains protected health information or other sensitive data, SBA may remove or redact it to protect privacy or comply with law.
Incentives and Material Connections
SBA does not condition an incentive on a positive or negative sentiment. If a review is obtained in connection with a discount, free product, sweepstakes, employee relationship, clinician relationship, or another material connection that requires disclosure, the connection must be disclosed clearly and conspicuously with the review. Officers, managers, employees, contractors, and other insiders may not misrepresent themselves as independent consumers.
Safety Reports in Reviews
If a review reports an injury, adverse reaction, defect, or potential safety issue, SBA may separately route the information for safety review. Safety handling and review moderation are distinct. A safety report is not suppressed merely because it is unfavorable, and a refund or replacement does not require the reviewer to withdraw a truthful report.
Ownership and License
You retain ownership of content you submit. By intentionally posting content to a public feature, you grant SBA the limited license described in the Terms of Use to host, display, format, and use the content in connection with the site. Separate authorization will be obtained before identifiable protected health information is used for marketing when required by law.
Removal Requests and Contact
You may ask us to remove content you posted, subject to legal recordkeeping, safety, or dispute-preservation obligations. Questions about review moderation or removal: support@sleepbalanceacademy.com
